Environmental
Carbon Emissions
BAP Pharma are committed to reducing our Scope 1 & 2 carbon emissions by 45% against a 2023 baseline year, in line with SBTi short-term targets.
We aim to reach Net-Zero by 2050, as called for in the Paris Agreement.

Engaging Supply Chain
We are working with our suppliers to understand their commitment for sustainability, as well as their carbon reduction goals.
Biodiversity
We are involved in projects to improve biodiversity in local areas. This is also tied to our community engagement strategy.
Reducing Plastic Consumption
In our offices, we are working to eliminate all single use plastics to reduce items sent to landfill.
Circular Economy
We are committed to reusing products involved in our logistical operations to maximise product lifespan. We are also working to recycle applicable items in closed loop.

Community Engagement Strategy
BAP Pharma’s Community Engagement Strategy (CES) is a commitment to how BAP Pharma will support, engage and invest in community sustainability. The strategy provides a framework for supporting community investment activities that contribute to social progress and create opportunities that can help empower and improve the lives of local communities, to help build more resilient communities.

Health and Wellbeing
Sponsorship of girls’ football teams in Oxford and Marlow.
Installation of publicly available defibrillator at Medina House, Marlow, linked up to the national database via The Circuit.
Providing access to lunchtime guided walks in the local area, meditation sessions and HIIT workout classes.
All employees have access to an employee assistance programme, which includes a health and wellbeing portal with useful resources and a 24/7 helpline.

Employment Education & Skills
Annual work experience programme to provide a meaningful work experience placement and mentoring, support and guidance for local schools.
Provision of access to skills and development training opportunities.
Partner with national school platforms to support UK schools and deliver key benefits to targeted groups.

Cohesive & Resilient Communities
Work in partnership with the Buckinghamshire Council, Marlow Town Council and local community boards to direct funding opportunities and highlight in-need groups.
BAP Pharma are represented on the Globe Business Park BID Board with direct access to schemes and initiatives which enhance the business community and wider stakeholder community groups.
Attend and host the local Business Sustainability Group Meeting which enables information sharing and networking across local Business Parks to create vibrant and sustainable trading environments throughout the Thames Valley.

Environmental Awareness, Wildlife Protection & Biodiversity
BAP Pharma engage and work with local community groups to support conservation initiatives and identify meaningful corporate volunteering opportunities.
Engaging in biodiversity projects, in conjunction with the Chiltern Rangers and local businesses to identify key local sites to create wildlife hubs and improve natural resources.
Current project – transforming unused land into a wild meadow, encouraging wildlife and improving biodiversity.
Governance
BAP Pharma has two appointed ESG Leads that report into our Senior Management Team on a quarterly basis. Our ESG team has a board-level and SMT commitment, recognising a resource and financial commitment to sustainability.
We are working across multiple departments to implement strong policies for:
