Product Details

Bicillin® L-A is a ready-to-use Benzathine Benzylpenicillin, also known as Penicillin G Benzathine (PBG) slow-onset, long-acting antibiotic in prefilled syringes that fights bacteria in the body.

Bicillin® L-A belongs to the group of penicillin antibiotics and works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth. This particular type of Bicillin is called Bicillin® L-A because it is long-acting.

Bicillin® L-A is supplied as a prefilled syringe in a pack of ten, for single use only.

 

Product Usage

Bicillin® L-A is used to treat a wide variety of venereal bacterial infections in different parts of the body caused by bacteria, such as Syphilis, Yaws, Bejel and Pinta, as well as Rheumatic Fever and/or Chorea.

 

Product Approval

Bicillin® L-A (Penicillin G Benzathine) has received approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
