We are excited and proud to announce that BAP Pharma have ranked 78th in the Minority Supplier Development UK Report 2021 – the first ever list of the country’s top 100 minority businesses.
The Minority Supplier Development UK (MSDUK) is the UK’s premier not-for-profit membership organisation, championing diversity and inclusion in the public and private sector supply chains.
MSDUK collaborated with OPEN to produce exclusive new research and analysis, to develop the Minority Businesses Matter report, which highlights the importance and untapped potential of ethnic minority businesses.

This landmark report aims to bring change to minority businesses contributions being overlooked by policymakers and the wider business community, by presenting fresh analysis of existing evidence on minority businesses.
Despite the challenges often faced, ethnic-minority entrepreneurs and businesses make a huge economic contribution to the UK, with minority businesses contributing at least £74 billion a year to the UK economy.
In 2019-20, minority businesses contributed gross value added of at least £74 billion, £47.9 billion in employee compensation, £4.7 billion in corporation tax payments and £21.4 billion in post-tax profits.
“We are extremely proud to be recognised in the first ever list of the country’s top 100 minority businesses, for our efforts to champion diversification within BAP Pharma. This would not have been possible without the support from our clients, who recognise diversity as an essential part of their culture and our diverse workforce”.
Dr. Bashir Pakar, Founder and Managing Director of BAP Pharma.
